Who We Are

Scoala Gimnaziala Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu – Romania
Scoala B. P. Hasdeu is a public lower-secondary school attended by children aged from 5 to 15. There are around 1300 students and 90 teachers who teach general subjects such as Science, Maths, Languages, Arts, Sports and Computer Science. In the past 10 years, following governmental dispositions, children with SEN came to study along with all the other pupils. That is why two SEN teachers joined the teacher team to provide support to these kids and to the teachers in need to deal with their learning difficulties. The school has experience in the Erasmus projects and organizes several festivals and celebrations along the school year, concerning History, Romanian Traditions, Biology, Maths.


DYS-centrum Praha, z. ú. – Czech Republic
DYS-centrum is a non-governmental organisation which works with people with learning difficulties. The target group involves children, adolescents, and adults. The main issues are usually dyslexia, ADHD, non-specific learning difficulties - manifested either at school or at work. DYS–centrum offers occasional counselling, long-term therapy, and complex assessment. Furthermore, DYS-centrum organises courses and workshops for teachers and school counsellors, and an annual professional conference. DYS-centrum has been involved in several EU projects.


Agrupamento de Escolas de Sines - Portugal
AE Sines is a public school, with almost 1340 students, from kindergarten to the 9th grade.
The Sines School Cluster (AES) consists on 5 organic units: EB Vasco da Gama de Sines (2nd and 3rd cycles); EB Nº1, EB Nº2, EB Nº3 in Sines and EB in Porto Covo (pre-school and 1st cycle). We are a Territory of Priority Intervention (TEIP), due to the needs of our student populations ( heterogeneous, multicultural - Brazilian, Moldavian, Ukrainian, Chinese, Cape Verdean, Mozambican, among 30 others and Gypsys - lower income families, ...). The School Group serves the population of the Municipality of Sines, with two parishes - Sines and Porto Covo.
The integration of this population, so diverse in the schools, has contributed to a rich, diversified and multicultural context. This is evident in the work developed with the educational community.


Asociacia Dyslexia – Bulgaria
Asociacia Dyslexia - Bulgaria /DABG/ is a non-governmental organisation with 20 years of experience in the field of learning difficulties. We work with children, young people and adults from all over the country, providing assessment, intervention and psychological support for those with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties. DABG organises face-to-face and online training for teachers, specialists and parents, seminars, workshops and conferences. A lot of time and efforts are dedicated to development and realisation of EU projects (more than 30 have been realised during the last 20 years).


Istituto Comprensivo Severi-Mancini – Italy
The "F. Severi-Mancini" Comprehensive School was formed from the merger, realized on September 1 2024, between the “Pasquale Mancini” Educational Circle and the “Francesco Severi” Comprehensive Institute.
Our school is located in the municipality of Crispiano, in the province of Taranto, within the Apulian region. It includes three levels of education: kindergarten, primary school, and lower secondary school, spread across several buildings: – The kindergarten is divided into three separate buildings. – The primary school is located in two different buildings. – The lower secondary school consists of two pavilions.
Approximately 1,300 students are enrolled, and the teaching staff consists of 165 teachers, including 54 support teachers.
The socio-economic landscape of the area where the school is located has undergone significant changes over the years. Once primarily agricultural, the municipality of Crispiano has drastically transformed, supplying labor to the industrial sector of Taranto and contributing to its growth. Additionally, the town has developed a tourist identity by capitalizing on the allure of the “Cento Masserie” in the region, bringing economic benefits to the local community.
Over the years, the school has engaged in a journey of knowledge and enhancement of the local area and its resources through specific student projects, collaborating closely with various educational organizations in the municipality, such as sports, cultural, and theatrical associations, municipal libraries, etc. The goal has been to shape a citizen who is well integrated into the social and cultural structure of their community, while also fostering a sense of European citizenship.
Our school, as required by the Italian education system, places great importance on the inclusive learning process of our students, which is implemented by providing tools designed to support their educational success.


9th Experimental Primary School of Ioannina - School of Intercultural Education – Greece
The 9th Experimental Primary School of Intercultural Education is situated in Ioannina, a provincial city in Western Greece. In addition to its native students, the school accommodates a diverse student body, with 40% of students in the 2024-2025 academic year being refugees, immigrants, and Roma. Providing education to children aged 6 to 12, the school is supported by specialized services such as ZEP, Inclusion Department, a Psychologist, a Special Educator, and a Social Worker, ensuring support for all learners. With a strong commitment to inclusive education, the school views learning as a fundamental right for every child. It works closely with local and international collaborators to develop innovative educational methodologies, prioritizing teacher development and creating environments that nurture student potential. Recent initiatives have targeted the early identification and effective management of learning difficulties through European partnerships.
Participation in Erasmus+ projects has been integral to the school’s evolution, enabling teachers to expand their professional expertise while equipping students with the skills needed for the 21st century. Through these programs, the school fosters inclusive learning spaces that provide equal educational opportunities for all.


Univerzitka – Slovakia
Univerzitka - non-government organisation in Trenčín (Slovakia). Platform for inclusive education, therapy, preventive activities and teacher/school inclusive team members in-service training. The founder of Univerzitka is Zuzana Oravcová. Universitka currently offers a number of high quality online training courses for teachers, special educators, psychologists, social educators and other helping professions. In addition, she provides therapy and intervention for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities and other difficulties. We carry out activities for children such as Developing narrative skills, Life skills training through model situations, Interactive reading comprehension.


Center for Communication, Speech and Language Portorož - Slovenia
The Centre for communication, hearing and speech Portorož (CKSG Portorož) is an institution for the provision of educational activities, which is performed as a public service in the field of education of children and adolescents with special needs i. e. children and adolescents hearing impairments, speech and language disorders and children with autistic disorders and learning disabilities.
The institution performs a public education service in the areas of preschool education, primary education and public health service activities.
The Centre for communication, hearing and speech Portorož is an educational, diagnostic, research and advisory rehabilitation centre that develops its own methods, work techniques and educational programs, with a preventive, compensatory, correction and social integration task, both in the Littoral Karst region and beyond our borders.
At the moment, the number of staff in the centre is more than 100 (special teachers, educators, peripathetic teachers, speech-language pathologists).
